Flicker Film Society: Weekly Blog 10/15/13

Nothing stops the Flicker FIlm Blog! Not even a hard drive crash! It may be a day late but it’s still here. So let’s talk about last week.

Last week we interviewed a local PA, Channing Duke. We filmed the interview and cut together a 15 minute version to put up on YouTube. Channing Duke is a UNCW film student but she has already worked on professional projects like Sleepy Hollow and Cucalorus Film Festival. You can check it out here:

We also had our first meeting for our sketch group, 2nd Unit Productions. It was a very productive first meeting despite taking place just before Fall Break. All we did was brainstorm ideas but it was really fun. If you want to be a part of that it’s in Kenan 1005 every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Another short blog this week. If you’re on Facebook make sure to join our community group page. Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter.
